952. Finnish M23 "Luger" Pistol by DWM

serial #9998r, 30 Luger, 3 7/8" barrel with bright very good plus bore showing a hint of light frosting. The metal surfaces of this pistol retain about 60% arsenal blue with the gripstraps worn to gray, high edge wear, barrel toned to smooth gray patina, small dings, scratches and handling marks. The ejector is blued and the remaining small parts retain some nice pale straw color with some light silvering. The checkered walnut grips remain in about good overall condition as lightly refinished with checkering almost worn smooth and scattered handling marks. There is a blank brass unit disc affixed on the right panel by two brass screws and a tight 1/2" crack on the panel emanating from the top edge of the disk. The left side of the receiver is marked with a large "T" stamp, German proof and "[SA]" Finnish army stamp. The parts are mismatched with many of the smaller parts such as the grooved firing pin un-numbered. The barrel is numbered 9104t, toggle train 70 and sideplate 66; the receiver is also un-numbered. There is a small C.A.I. import stamp on the bottom of the barrel and the pistol includes one un-numbered blue-bodied aluminum base magazine. (138050-26) {C&R} (500/700) SOLD FOR $747.50
