serial #351951, 12 ga., 26? barrels choked modified and full with bright excellent bores. The barrels are primarily a dark gray, faded original blue with toning to pewter in the carry area above the forend, also with sparsely scattered light oxidation and the light scratches or handling marks one would expect from the years. The frame and lockplates retain perhaps 20% original color case-hardening, the balance a silvery case-hardened patina. The smooth capped pistolgrip buttstock rates very good and is a quality replacement from many years ago, it retains the minor dings and handling marks one would expect from a hunted arm. The splinter forend is very good as well retaining some good original finish with a 1? crack at its rear right edge. The gun seems to lock up well and function mechanically. The length of pull to the grooved hard rubber buttplate is 14 1/4? with drops of 1 5/8? and 3?. (38873-703) {C&R} (400/600) SOLD FOR $373.75
