serial #UCPP 47, 38 Special, 6" pinned barrel with a plugged bore. This non-working firearm was made to A.T.F. specifications for any such firearm that would be used for activities such as training, demonstrations or holster manufacture. The service hammer and trigger retain bold case-hardened colors. The checkered goncalo alves factory target grips with silver S&W medallions rate near excellent with a few light scratches. The revolver is totally inoperable. The mechanism does not function, the cylinder will not open plus the front locking bolt assembly and mainspring have been removed. The bottom of the grip frame has been machined flat and the word "DUMMY" stamped, and the left side of the frame was marked "UCPP 47" below the window. The revolver includes a factory Model 14 box that is not end-labeled or numbered. An interesting variation of the famed K-38 for your collection.
