45 ACP, 4" barrel with a very lightly oxidation stained bore. The barrel has a smooth grind mark with a few light welding imperfections. The metal surfaces retain about 20% original corrosion resistant finish with scattered cleaned pitting, moderate to heavy crusted oxidation in areas and lighter oxidation stains. The cocking knob rates about excellent and has cavity mold number 41. This four-hole pistol has no crescent F breech mark, remains fully functional and there is no floorplate. The lower butt section on the left side is dented in but the weld held on the frontstrap. The gun is German proofed with a proof date of 1981, plus it was numbered "225" on the barrel along with the caliber marking. (86229-N36) {C&R} [Elliott Riggs Collection] (500/700) SOLD FOR $546.25
