serial #1254503, 22 LR, 8" barrel with an excellent bore. The metal surfaces retain about 95% original blue finish with scattered light handling marks, a few oxidation blemishes and specks of lightly cleaned pitting on the left side of the slide and barrel. The case-hardened colors on the trigger remain bold. The checkered walnut factory thumb rest grips with gold High Standard medallions rate about excellent with a few minor handling marks. The pistol features a Patridge front sight, black blade barrel mounted rear sight, stabilizer (muzzle brake) and a pair of barrel weights. The slide lock spring is missing but it still functions and should not be a difficult fix. Included with the gun is an original factory box that shows moderate wear and a repair to the label end of the cover. Only a tiny portion of the label remains, mainly the serial number, but it indicates this may be the original box. Also included is a single factory magazine. Overall, a very nice example of a Hamden, Connecticut-made "space gun". (88873-264) {C&R} (600/800) SOLD FOR $805.00
