serial #T28249, 22 LR, 19 1/4'' barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is a lovely Belgian-made example from the late 1950's that rates excellent and features near full coverage of relief cut, hand engraving on the receiver that depicts hunting dog game scenes with a dog and mallards on the right, dog and pheasants on the left and dog's head profile with retrieved hare on top. The receiver has a gray chromed finish and there are rich foliate patterns that cover the remainder of the surfaces. The barrel retains about 99% original blue that has a few specks of very light oxidation, the muzzle remains bright and the trigger retains all of its original gold plating. The deluxe skip-line checkered walnut stocks rate excellent and have some light handling marks throughout. The wood has some lovely figure with light tiger striping to the patterns. The original sights remain intact, including the windage adjustable ''wheel'' rear sight, rifle is not tapped for mounts. A wonderful example of Browning craftsmanship that would be a true pleasure to own as well as a worthy addition to a Browning collection. (49022-59) {C&R} (3500/5500) Sold For 4255.00
