1213. Smith and Wesson Model 1950 Light Target Hand Ejector Revolver

serial #S98669, 45 ACP / AR, 6 1/2'' pinned barrel with a bright bore that shows crisp rifling and a couple of spots of very fine light pinprick pitting scattered along its length. The metal surfaces of this 1953-54-manufactured five-screw revolver retain 98% original blue with silvering at the muzzle, turn ring along the cylinder, a few handling marks and some light high edge wear. The .400'' semi-target hammer and serrated service trigger show bold case-hardened colors with a couple spots of light operational wear along the sides of the hammer with all numbered parts matching. The revolver has a Patridge front sight and black blade micrometer click rear sight and the diamond checkered walnut Magna grips with silver S&W medallions rate very good plus with a few light handling marks and are two tiny chips missing from the lower front corners of the grip panels with mostly crisp points remaining in the checkering. Included with this light barrel Target Model revolver is a two-piece maroon box that is correctly end-labeled and numbered to the gun along the bottom of the box, blue finished checkered handle sight tool, cleaning rod with mop and six half-moon clips. The included factory letter dated February 23, 2006 indicates the gun shipped as described to Warshall Sporting Goods Co., Seatle, WA on May 26, 1952. (109039-23) {C&R} (1000/1500) Sold For 1380.00
