serial #2010, 30 Luger, 4 3/4'' barrel with a mostly bright very good bore showing some light pinprick pitting and strong rifling throughout. The metal surfaces of this pistol retain about 75% arsenal-quality blue with the gripstraps showing some evidence of older reapplied blue now toning to gray-brown patina throughout along with scattered light to moderate pitting on the straps and some of the high edges, scattered small dings, freckling and light oxidation staining. The small parts still retain some quite bold straw color with overall silvering and gray freckling while the toggle pins and sear spring retain some pale fire blue. The checkered walnut grips are both a little loosely fitted, the left is un-numbered while the right is mismatched but they otherwise remain in fair-good condition showing moderate smoothing, dings and a small glue repair on the right panel. All of the serialized parts are matching, the un-grooved firing pin is un-numbered and the extractor is appropriately marked ''CARREGADA''. The ''(Crown) / M2'' royal monogram over the chamber and DWM logo on the toggle are quite crisp and one correct un-numbered magazine with Portuguese inspection mark on the base is included. The magazine body shows some patches of heavy pitting and toning to gray patina. A rather salty Portuguese Luger that still seems to function well mechanically. (138726-1) {C&R} [Dr. Louis C. March Jr. Collection] (800/1200) Sold For 862.50
