serial #19295, 22 S,L,LR over 44 GG, 18'' barrel with bright near excellent bores. The metal surfaces retain perhaps 50% original blue with the balance toning to a gray-brown patina along with moderate freckling and some spots of light oxidation staining. The hammer retains some faint remnants of case-hardened colors having mostly toned to gray patina while the folding stock retains about 85% original nickel finish showing some flaking and oxidation staining throughout. The smooth walnut grips and added thin walnut buttplate are no doubt from the period of use and remain in near excellent condition showing some minor dings and scratches scattered about. The rear sight is a period replacement simple aperture and the front sight is the original brass bead. The stock exhibits a little bit of play but barrel-to-frame fit is solid and the hammer functions crisply. A rather well-used but still solid example of these interesting arms. (136520-1317) {C&R} [Richard ''Stretch'' Kennedy Collection] (800/1200) Sold For 1495.00
