serial #101473, 22 RF, 2 3/8'' barrel with a worn oxidized bore. The metal surfaces of this revolver are embellished with good quality period foliate scrollwork with punch-dot shading on the sides of the frame with accompanying geometric motifs along the barrel and cylinder. The barrel and brass frame retain about 90% original nickel finish showing some scattered small flakes and dings scattered about. The cylinder has mostly flaked to gray patina and the barrel address is still mostly legible. The screw heads show some light slot damage and the hammer has mostly toned to gray patina still retaining a couple small flakes of fire blue. The smooth walnut grips remain in very good plus condition retaining a healthy amount of varnish showing minor flaking and small dings. The left panel is pencil-numbered to the gun and the right is un-numbered. The cylinder appears to be un-numbered, the barrel is matching and the action functions well with solid timing and lockup. (139010-141) {ANTIQUE} [Dr. Jess P. Lewis Collection] (700/900) Sold For 690.00
