serial #5543a, 9mm, 5'' barrel with an excellent bore. The metal surfaces of this first variation ac42 pistol retain 85% original blue with scattered fading to gray, silvering on the high edges and some scattered light oxidation staining. The black phenolic resin grips rate very good with scattered handling marks, minor dings and light scratches. All serialized parts are matching, a single unnumbered magazine is included that is marked with an ''(Eagle)/88'' and a ''jvd'' on the spine. The decocker operates a bit stiffly but is functional. A very good example of an early P.38 pistol. (208998-38) {C&R} (700/900) Sold For 632.50
