serial #154102, 41 Colt, 4 3/4'' barrel with a lightly pitted and oxidized bore. This 1894-made revolver retains about 40% reapplied blue finish with most surfaces toning to brown in addition to oxidation blemishes, pitting, turn ring on the cylinder and other handling marks. The frame was blued over but did not take well and some of the original case-hardened colors are visible under the applied finish. The markings remain strong and the barrel is marked ''41'' under the ejector rod housing. The grips are unmarked replacement stag that rate excellent. The hammer, hand and mainspring have been removed but are provided and the gun will probably need professional attention. Also included are an excellent condition oak presentation case with French cut interior that is blue velvet lined and has a six-round cartridge block in the corner with six unfired Remington Peters 44 Special cases and a key for the lock.
