440. Stunning Angelo Bee-Engraved Colt Python Revolver

serial #K45542, .357 Magnum, 8'' barrel with a bright excellent, likely unfired, bore. The metal surfaces on this incredible revolver retain about 99% post-engraving blue and gold plated finishes. The revolver is covered in near 100% coverage with Bee's exceptional quality open scroll with fine background punch-dot shading, providing a lovely contrast to the high polish blue finish within the swirls. The factory barrel markings are inlaid in gold and there is fine gold wire inlay at the muzzle. The cylinder has the periphery of its surfaces accented with fine gold wire inlay, this lovely inlay outlining the left and right of frame as well with small accenting swirls. The left side of frame shows an exceptional Rampant Colt while the right side shows an American Bald Eagle amidst a mountainous backdrop, talons exposed, swooping in on his prey. Both trigger and hammer are fully gold plated, the left side of the hammer showing some light loss with a tiny spot of oxidation. The revolver wears a lovely pair of smooth ivory grips with gold Rampant Colt medallions, rating about excellent, showing a couple very tiny drying cracks that come with age. This is stunning investment-grade revolver comes in a walnut presentation case with the red baize lining. There is a tiny bit of pitting on the front sight blade, these blades are easily replaced by someone who knows their business.
