serial #SR001917, 12 ga. / 223 Rem, 25'' barrels with excellent bores, the shotgun barrel features a WinChoke with extended modified choke tube. The barrels and trigger retain about 99% original blue that has some light handling marks and is lightly flaking to brown throughout. The coin finished frame and remaining metal surfaces rate excellent and feature the factory scroll foliate pattern Grand European engraving and logo in oval along the belly. The frame features games scenes that depict a moose on the left side, partridges on the right and a bellowing elk on the belly. The deluxe grade high gloss finish walnut stocks rate excellent and have some lovey figure. The Monte Carlo buttstock has a few small dings and both it and the schnabel tipped forearm with finger grooves have some light handling marks throughout. The buttstock features a capped pistolgrip and a solid red rubber rifle pad. The original sights remain intact and mounted to the quarter rib are a set of factory EAW style bases with 1'' scope rings. These high grade combination guns were only offered for a few short years from 1983-1985 and would make either a fine hunting arm or addition to a Winchester collection.
