Click on images for enlarged versions.

serial #2877, 30 Luger, 4 3/4'' barrel with a fair-good bore showing moderate oxidation and some good rifling throughout. The metal surfaces of this pistol retain about 94% arsenal blue showing some high edge wear, gripstraps and rear of frame thinning to gray patina, scattered small dings and some moderate tool marks near the takedown lever. The small parts show thinning straw color still quite strong in some areas while the sear spring retains nice fire blue. The grip screw heads show some light slot damage, the ''(Crown) / M2'' Portuguese royal monogram over the chamber and DWM logo on the toggle are very clear. The checkered walnut grips remain in very good condition showing some areas of lightly chipped and compressed points scattered about. The left panel is stamp-numbered to the gun while the right is numbered ''80'' but fits well and the remaining serialized parts are matching; the un-grooved firing pin is un-numbered. One bright-bodied wood base magazine numbered ''792e'' with a ''+'' is included and shows overall toning to gray and some chips along the base. Also included are an original Portuguese black leather holster, takedown tool and combination oiler/cleaning rod. The holster remains in very good condition showing some light scuffs, scratches and minor crackling. A very nice example of a nearly complete Portuguese Luger rig.
