serial #33171, .36 cal., 7 1/2'' octagon barrel with an as-new bore. This is a very high condition London Navy. The barrel is marked on top flat ''ADDRESS COL: COLT. LONDON'' with pointed lines on either side and it retains about 90 - 95% bright original blue finish with loss due to some light flaking and with those areas showing a pleasing smooth gray patina. The cylinder shows virtually all of its original naval engagement scene and retains 95% original blue with a few scattered light impact marks. The frame shows 95% brilliant original color case-hardened finish overall. The loading lever and hammer show perhaps 85% original color case-hardened finish which is slightly less vivid than the frame. The iron backstrap is mostly a smooth gray patina with traces of bright original blue finish in protected areas. The triggerguard shows about 90% bright original blue finish remaining. The one-piece walnut grip rates excellent with about 95% original finish remaining and just a few very light handling marks. The revolver comes in an original walnut London casing with loading instructions on interior of lid. The interior is lined in blue baize lining which shows proper age and includes a minty James Dixon flask, a very fine blued steel two cavity bullet mould, small pewter oiler, iron handled cleaning rod, Eley cap tin, Hawksley powder measure and some cast lead projectiles. The condition of the case is excellent and the original key is included. A truly wonderful investment quality Colt London Navy revolver. (18817-6) {ANTIQUE} (8000/12000) Sold For 8050.00
