681. Winchester Model 1894 Eastern Carbine

serial #1062624, 32 W.S., 20'' barrel with a bright excellent bore. The barrel and magazine retain about 85% evenly thinning original blue under a patchy covering of dried protective grease, the loss due to wear and light scratches along the sides, the bands lightly fading to brown and gray. The receiver has flaked to an overall brown and gray patina with some light striations and patches of original blue remaining. The hammer and lever retain about 90% original blue toning to brown with light wear along the edges and right side of the hammer. The plain walnut buttstock and forend rate very good with light handling marks, a thin vertical scratch in the right side of the wrist and a 1 1/2'' drying crack in the right side of the stock; ''F.J.E.'' has been incise carved in the belly of the forend. Carbine is sighted with a standard blade post front sight and ladder style rear sight. A solid, very good Model 1894 Eastern carbine. (59020-8) {C&R} (1200/1800) Sold For 0.00
